Happy 60th Birthday MOM!

Saturday night we had a surprise 60th birthday party for my mom at our house. We had family and friends and had such a great time! Here is Mom and Dad with their 13 grandchildren ready to help blow out all 60 candles! Happy birthday mom....We love yoU!

First Haircut

Lane got his first haircut last week on Thursday. The lady that cuts my hair, Cathy Daniels cut Lane's hair. He sat still about the first two cuts and then decided he didn't like the idea. Finally Grandpa Jerome gave him his cell phone and he sat still the rest of the time. We think he looks so grown up now!

A sweet lady that Nick works with gave us 2 reindeer and Santa for our yard. Lane loves them!! He runs to the window about 10 times a day and says "D" for deer. Here is a shout out to Donna and Dale from Lane. Thanks guys for sharing with us!

Black Friday Shopping

It is a tradition at the Thies house to hit the Black Friday sales early, early Friday morning after Thanksgiving. This year was no different, we hit the road about 4:30 am and headed to Boonville Wal-Mart. After Wal-Mart we hit Sonic for breakfast and then down I-70 we go to Columbia. We shopped until 2:30 and had a great time!! My sister and I were exhausted and ready to go home and my Mom was ready to continue to shop. Thankfully Lane stayed home with Nick. I think they enjoyed their day together!

11 months

Lane is 11 months. In a few short weeks we will be celebrating his 1st birthday! I am excited and sad at the same time!! My baby is growing up so fast!
